These opportunities are listed as a service for GA homeschoolers. They are not endorsed by GHEA and have not been evaluated for value or content.


GEORGIA AQUARIUM

You can go as a family!! One adult is FREE for every 2 children and each child is $12.00. If you want your spouse to go, then they will have to pay full general price unless you have more than 2 kids. You get a 45 minute lesson and FREE admission to the aquarium.

You have to email your Declaration of Intent and the date you want the reservation to:
Mdouarie@georgiaaquarium.org. She will call you back to confirm and take payment. You can see the dates and what each grade level will be learning on the the website.

FERNBANK MUSEUM

Explore Extraordinary Landscapes

 locations, including Greenland, Madagascar, the Namib Desert, the Okavango Delta, Tibet, Iguazu Falls and the Amazon River in the large-format film, The Greatest Places. Aerial and remote location cinematography highlights spectacular land forms, diverse wildlife and the people and cultures indigenous to these locations.
