  •
  • The Southern Crescent Citadels will be having preliminary tryouts/workouts during the month of August on Mondays and Thursdays.  There will be an official tryout date scheduled at the end of August.  Each player (at least 14 years old by January 1, 2010) will be evaluated based on his ability to compete at a high school level.  Our home field is in the Peachtree City area, about 15 miles south of the Atlanta airport.
Workouts will include some instructional and drill training.  However, the primary purpose will be to hone skills previously developed.  Secondly, we want to give the coach/coaches plenty of time to evaluate the players.  With multiple workouts, coaches can more accurately assess the true abilities of each player.
Early selection of the varsity team will allow adequate time for fundraising needed for professional coaching.  It will also give the boys time to develop relationships needed for a great team.  Specific times and locations will be sent via email soon.  We look forward to seeing all of you there.  Please forward this email to any homeschool baseball players who might be interested in trying out for the team.

Fine-Kicking

BECOME A SIGNIFICANT WEAPON
My main objective is to train kickers and punters to perform at their fullest potential.  I feel that many kickers and punters are left to coach themselves.  I want athletes to learn the proper ways to stretch, technique drills, how to approach the ball, how to strike the ball, and how to have an effect on opposing teams.  Becoming an effective place kickers means focusing on field goal accuracy, proper angles, and understanding the fundamentals.  Becoming an effective punter means learning how to place opponents in bad field position, and help your own defense when needed.  These are the skills that enable you to BECOME A SIGNIFICANT WEAPON
Information:
Instructional one on one or small group lessons
Price:  1 session- $60
