Baseball

  • Atlanta South Christian Knights  - SEE  THE WEBSITE FOR MEETING PLACE AND TIME.   The Knights baseball program began in the Spring of 2000 and  the past 7 years our varsity team (ages 15-18) has qualified for the Homeschool World Series finishing third place two of those years.  We now have (in addition to our Varisty Team) a junior varsity team (ages 13-15), and a middle school team (ages 10-12).  The varsity and JV teams play  their home games in Peachtree City, GA. Our main goal is to provide an organization where boys can develop strong athletic abilities in an atmosphere where Godly character is demonstrated on and off the field.  One of the original  Knights players is now  playing with the Minnesota Twins while many others have received scholarships at various colleges. We are currently looking for new players.  Registration is now open for Spring Season.   For more information please call 770-487-4347 or visit    www.leaguelineup.com/atlantaknights   

  • Greater Gwinnett Christian Barons -  The Great Gwinnett Christian Barons baseball program began in 1993 as a means of providing quality athletic programs for home educated students who wanted to play competitively at the high school level.  Based in Gwinnett, the Barons have players from all over the Atlanta area as well as various parts of the state of Georgia.  The Barons have always been noted for exhibiting Godly character traits as well as a high level of athletic ability.  Through the years, the Barons have had twenty players who have received scholarships to play at the college level and one player who went on to play for the New York Yankees organization.  The Barons have had winning records every year and have won numerous tournaments and state awards.  Currently, the Barons are the Homeschool World Series Association Champions, a title they have held four other times.   At present, the Barons field a varsity team and a junior varsity team.   Practices are held in Suwanee.  Home games are played in Norcross. www.gobarons.com

  • The CSRA Crusaders Baseball program was established in 2003 allowing homeschool athletes (ages 13-18) to play in a competitive high school and junior high organization.  The CSRA Crusaders team is located in the Central Savannah River Area of Georgia and South Carolina, welcoming players from central Georgia through mid South Carolina.  In only two years as a team, the Crusaders placed second in 2005 Regionals and went on to Atlanta to play in the Homeschool World Series.

  • West Georgia Christian Wranglers are in their inaugural season in 2006 with the goal of providing a highly competitive baseball team for homeschool Christian athletes in the West Georgia area.  Since this is our first year, we will play as a junior varsity team with 25 games on our current schedule.  The Wranglers home field is Fairplay Park in Douglas County which is located approximately 30 miles west of Atlanta.  The Wranglers still  have room for a couple more players and are actively seeking to complete theiri roster.  Interested players may view our website at hhtp://www.wranglerbaseball.org or call us at 770-562-4200

  •  Glory For Christ football (previously known as the Georgia Football League)

    The Glory For Christ football league provides competitive 11-man tackle football for home educated boys, who are in middle school and high school, and meet age and eligibility requirements.  Teams are located in Bartow county (Cartersville), Carroll county (Roopville), Cherokee county (Canton/Woodstock), Cobb county (Marietta), Gwinnett county (Buford), Rockdale county (Conyers) and Whitfield (Dalton).  For more information, go to www.GeorgiaFootballLeague.com or call 770-714-5775. 

  • Georgia Force Football – The Georgia Force High School football program is beginning its sixth football season in 2009.  Homeschooled boys ages 13 through 12th grade are eligible to participate.  We will have both a middle school and varsity team.  Spring training is held in April or May.  Players have an opportunity to attend a summer camp in early July to help improve their playing skills.  Regular season practice will begin in late July and the season runs from August through November.  Practices are held on M, T, TH and F from 5:45pm-8pm.  We also have a first class cheerleading squad and the Georgia Force Marching Band.  We are based in Gwinnett, Hall, Barrow, Jackson, and Walton and other northeastern surrounding counties.   •  Noon-Day Park SoccerThe Spring 2008 season of Home School Soccer begins  March 27 and runs through May 15 (Rain Makeup: May 22.) We are a non-competitive league that meets at Noonday Creek Park on Thursdays from 1-2 pm for the 3-4 year old team and 1-2:30 pm for older players. The cost is $40 per child, which includes Season Play, Insurance, Pizza and an Award. There is a Late Fee of $5 per child for Registrations postmarked after March 6, 2008.    Additional information and a Registration Form can be found at www.freewebs.com/homeschoolsoccer . As always, volunteers for coaching or support functions are needed, with children of coaches and assistant coaches who can commit to at least 6 out of the 8-week program playing for FREE.   • Dacula Dolphins Swim Team   The Dacula Dolphins Swim Team is a member of the North Georgia Swim League  (NGSL)  The purpose of the swim team is to improve he swimming skills of the participants and to introduce them to competitive swimming.  We hope to build the swimmers’ self-esteem and encourage sportsmanship as well as enhance their general physical well being.  Are you ready to be a Dolphin??  Swimmers can start as early as age 6 and swimmers do not need to know the strokes in order to join, just a love for swimming!
