THE STILL POINTE STUDIOS is a ballet school committed to training dancers to reach their greatest potential so that wherever their dance experience may lead them, each student can be used by God, for His glory. Time spent in our studio is purposeful. Even if a student studies with us for just a few years, the disciplines, perspectives, and opportunities they will encounter will remain with them a lifetime. However, if a student aspires to dance professionally, go on to major in dance at the college level, to teach, choreograph, or dance in ministry, we believe their training should fully prepare them to enter any of these endeavors. We are guided by a commitment to excellence and a respect for the image of God in every student. Technical development occurs within a context that acknowledges the importance of discipline, determination, courage, patience, kindness, selflessness and regard for others. Accomplishment and joy result. Detailed information may be found on our website at www.thestillpointestudios.com

REPERI VOCEM TUAM STUDIO. …find your voice! Steve Hester, 770.490.8531, rvtstudio@comcast.net Everybody has a voice. Have you found yours? Do you have a child who likes to sing? Have they found their own special God-given voice? Reperi Vocem Tuam is Latin for Find Your Voice. And at RVT STUDIO that’s exactly what can happen, and it can be one of the most exciting journeys of one’s life! Think of all the musical instruments you can. Brass, strings, percussion, woodwinds, even the magnificent pipe organ - - all man-made. Have you stopped to think that there is only one musical instrument created by the Creator Himself? The human voice! That’s right; your voice, or your child’s voice. Unique. Individual. One-of-a-kind. Designed and crafted by God, just as you are. The human voice is also unique in that learning to use it to its full potential is unlike learning any other musical instrument. All other instruments can be held, touched, manipulated, and seen. Not so the voice. Your voice is inside you. It’s part of you. It can’t be taken out and tuned or repaired. It’s you. It identifies and defines you. The voice is very personal – and the instructor must tailor the instruction for each individual! The goal of RVT STUDIO is simple. To help each student to find his or her unique, God-made voice. That one-of-a-kind, individual voice that God gave every individual. RVT STUDIO does not want to help anyone sound like anyone else. RVT STUDIO does not want to promote or champion one style of music over another. RVT STUDIO’s only desire is to help each student sound the best he or she can as we discover the voice given by God. I am STEVE HESTER, the instructor at RVT STUDIO, and singing is my passion. I am equally passionate about helping others on the journey of discovering their own unique voice. Here’s a bit about me: 25 year resident of Fayette County Graduate of Shorter College, Bachelor of Music, Voice Performance Graduate of Mercer University, Master’s of Music, Voice and Conducting Additional study at Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ Master Classes with Dr. Oren Brown and Walter Tausig of the NYC Metropolitan Opera Study with Margaret Harshaw of the NYC Metropolitan Opera Study of Vocal Science with Dr. Thomas Cleveland of the Voice Center at Vanderbilt University I am married and have three children and two dogs. I would deem it an honor and privilege to take you, or your child/children, on the journey of a lifetime; the journey of finding your unique, singularly special voice. Contact RVT STUDIO to set up the lessons to make the journey. The phone number and e-mail address are at the top of this page. REPERI VOCEM TUAM p r i v a t e v o c a l i n s t r u c t i o n
The Young Actors Ensemble ….Offers homeschool courses in the visual arts, ballroom dance and theatrical acting. We are located in Sandy Springs, Georgia and our program is geared to grades 7-12. Our main focus is the person – through great teachers we wind up with greater students. ….. YAE is both professional and nurturing, and we exclude no one -- yet we are able to create artistically explosive and educationally significant original works which we take to schools throughout the Atlanta area. As an “ensemble” our goal is to create an environment which encourages students to be supportive of each other, responsible for themselves and enterprising in their craft. ….. Join the classes -- learn how to salsa and swing from an award-winning Cuban -- learn painting, drawing and sculpture from a down-to-earth -- study acting from a professional actress and produced playwright. -- we offer other classes when interest arises ( as in chorus, playwriting and public speaking) ….. Be part of the shows -- we create original shows twice a year which we perform in public venues and take to private and public schools. All of our shows are educationally oriented and provide an incredible growing experience for those involved.
