THIRD ANNUAL Free Event DUAL ENROLLMENT EXPO HOSTED BY FORSYTH CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATORS TUESDAY, MARCH 4, 7:00 - 9:00 PM Why Dual Enrollment Makes Sense: Earn college and high school credit at the same time. Tuition is PAID FOR by State of Georgia Lottery funds. Dual Enrollment courses meet the HOPE rigor requirements. Get basic college courses out of the way early. Shorten the length of time spent earning a college degree. Earn a technical certificate while in high school. Credits transfer to most Georgia and US colleges. Bolster college applications with real college experience. Let someone else teach upper level math and science classes. Area colleges ARE actively recruiting high school students. Many core college courses duplicate high school courses. Get an idea of what full-time college coursework will be like. Prepare for the rigors of college early. Explore areas of interest before declaring a major.
