Botanical Garden Homeschool Day

Homeschool Day at the Atlanta Botanical Garden Friday, October 18 9 a.m. - noon (you do not have to leave the garden at noon; it is open until 7:00 p.m.) $9 per student | $9 per chaperone (max 2 per student)* (Usual price is $18.95 for adults and $12.95 for children 3-12) parking isn't cheap, so you might want to carpool 1345 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GA, 30309 http://atlantabotanicalgarden.org/plan-your-visit/visitor-info The Garden hosts an exciting day of tours and activities exclusively for homeschool groups and families. Supplement your life science, botanical and environmental studies curriculum by visiting a tropical rain forest, a desert house and a native pitcher plant bog. Tip-toe through the treetops on the Canopy Walk and observe edible plants in the Edible Garden. The Garden also has a 2-acre Children's Garden focusing on the interactions between people, animals and plants. The Imaginary World of plants larger than life will be at the garden through Oct. 31. (photos below) Garden Tours Tours will take groups through the outdoor gardens and the Fuqua Conservatory to explore how plants can look very different. Meet in the Hardin Visitor Center.
