In this special lecture, we will provide information about

the sensory issues surrounding language and literacy

development--including the symptoms of dyslexia, attention

deficit disorder, and autism. Discussion will focus on

sensory-cognitive function as current research indicates

that weaknesses in these areas can cause severe problems

with language and literacy development.
