HOMESCHOOL programs at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center

Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center is pleased to announce our new Homeschool

Program! (Mansfield, GA) The center's forests, lakes, and streams provide an excellent

setting for outdoor learning. The indoor classrooms and live animals

enhance the experience by providing up-close wildlife encounters.

These drop-off classes are designed for home-schooled students, emphasizing

peer cooperation along with individual exploration. Each program covers a

different topic, but all classes include hands-on learning, self-discovery,

and outdoor fun. Through hikes, experiments, games, and investigation, we

will uncover the secrets of Georgia's wildlife and habitats.

Age and Group Size: Programs are designed for 1st - 7th grade students.

Students will be divided into two age groups: 1st - 3rd

grade and 4th - 7th. Each group will have a maximum of 10 students.

Time: 9:30am - 1:30pm

Location: Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center's Brooke Ager Discovery Area

Cost: $10 per student

Dates: Each program takes place the 3rd Friday of months during the school

year. Specific dates and program descriptions are listed in the attached

file. Students may sign up for one, several, or all of the programs.
