About our Speakers
Vivian Chapman - has been homeschooling her two children, Daniel and Sara since 1991.  Daniel has just entered Georgia Tech as a President's Scholar this fall and Sara is a high school junior.  Along with her husband, Gary, Vivian has taken a hands-on approach to learning with her children, emphasizing love of discovery more than using textbooks, testing, and other traditional approaches.  Vivian's passion is encouraging families to seek God for wisdom and direction in fulfilling His will for the lives of their children.
Kym Wright - is the mother of 8 homeschooled children.  Two have graduated and are attending her alma mater on scholarships, Judson College in Marion, Alabama.  She is author of the Learn & Do Unit Studies and Women: Living  Life on Purpose.  She writes for many homeschooling publications including Homeschooling Today, The Old Schoolhouse, and Practical Homeschooling, as well as penning a chapter in the upcoming book Homeschooling Styles: The Choice is Yours.  She was the editor for the statewide GHEA (Georgia Home Education Association) newsletter for two years, and she and her husband, Mark have homeschooled since the mid 80's.  Kym writes to encourage homeschool moms in very practical, hands on ways making philosophical workable.
