The speaker:

Ruth Martin is the mother of three and has been home schooling since 1983.  All of her children have home schooled through high school and gone on to college on academic scholarships.  Her oldest has finished law school and is presently in seminary.  Her second is also in seminary.  The youngest is a junior at Georgia State University.  Ruth has a Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities and spent many years in public and private schools teaching and testing children with learning disabilities.  She is an educational consultant in private practice working with students of all ages and learning abilities.  She writes and speaks for the Georgia Home Education Association and serves its Board of Directors.

This seminar is very popular and space is limited for your benefit.  Please pre-register early so you won’t miss out on this great workshop!

Teens may attend, but bear in mind that this is an all day conference, so consider their level of interest and attention span.  Nursing babies are welcome, but no other young children may attend, as no childcare is provided, and space is limited.  We do not have the use of the church gymnasium except for eating lunch.

Please plan to bring your own sack lunch or there are a number of fast food restaurants about 5 miles away, so you can run out to pick up a lunch.  A few tables will be set up in the church gymnasium for a lunch area, if you would like to stay at the church during that time.

Cost:   - $45.00 per family (husband and wife) pre-registered by October 31st.  Pre-registration guarantees you a seminar workbook upon arrival.

            - Registration is $55.00 per family at the door on November 1st.

-Returning attendees:  $30* per family, pre-registered, or $40* per family, paid at the door.

-Each pre-Registered family will receive a copy of Ruth’s “Home School and Beyond” Manual at the door.
