> Home schooling is growing faster than ever. More and more parents are

> following God's call to bear the full responsibility for their children's

> education. This workshop will serve as a starting point as you begin your home

> schooling career or give you fresh ideas if you are a veteran. Join us for a

> full day of sharing ideas and practical insights. We will break for lunch at

> noon. There are places to eat nearby or you can bring your lunch.

> Topics include: Legal Issues, Goals and Planning, The Nitty Gritty,

> Learning and Teaching Styles, and Choosing Curriculum.

> Speaker: Ruth Martin is the mother of three children and a veteran home

> schooler. She has a Master's Degree in Learning Disabilities and spent many

> years in public and private school classrooms. Ruth and her husband, Jackie,

> have been home schooling since 1983. All three of her children have graduated

> from home schooling and have gone on to advanced degrees. So far, they have

> survived.

> Cost: $45.00 per family; No childcare. Nursing babies only!
