Homeschool Career Fair
April 8
Crossroads Church
Newnan, Georgia
Our nation yearns for Godly leadership and character and where shall she turn but to homeschoolers? If our children are to rise up and lead our nation back to the path of righteousness then it is never too late (or early) to get a clear picture of what the future holds and how to get there. The Homeschool Career Fair is a great place to start investigating!
Almost 40 professionals from every walk of life will be available to talk about his or her profession and give advice to aspiring students. Just a few of those showcased are:
medicine, law , journalism, music, engineering, business, fire fighting, law enforcement, canine specialist, hippotherapy, education, chemistry, architecture, military, computer, video producer, finance, etc.
Also available will be recruiters from several homeschool friendly colleges to help your student figure out how to reach their dreams.
At 4:45, homeschool graduate Elizabeth Kays will be conducting a speech and debate exhibition to demonstrate the value of incorporating public speaking into your homeschool. Miss Kays is nationally ranked with the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association and will be studying chemistry at Oxford University in England this Fall.
This event is free
