Come learn about HOMESCHOOL COOPS

 with Kym Wright

 

In this fun and informative session, Kym will:

 

v     Define what homeschool co-Ųps are

v     Give reasons to initiate or join a co-Ųp

v     Tell benefits of schooling with others

v     Show the down-side or disadvantages and when not to join

v     Help you know what to consider

v     Give you 12 steps to organization and planning

v     Share how to build a strong co-Ųp

v     Give tips and advice along the way

 

Also, practical experiences will be shared on co-ops for teens, including our Fireside Shakespeare classes and Public Speaking 101. And starting a Keepers at Home club for girls.

Directions:  From Stockbridge go 138 toward Conyers.  At the intersection of Hwy 155 and 138 you will turn left onto Hwy 155.  The church is .4 miles up on your left.  (you can also use www.randmcnally.com and get directions from your house)

Kym Wright is the mother of 8 homeschooled children.  She has graduated three students who are all currently working and in college. Kym is author of the Learn & Do Unit Studies and Women: Living Life on Purpose.  She writes for many homeschooling publications including Homeschooling Today, The Old Schoolhouse, and Practical Homeschooling and now publishes an online magazine The Motherís Heart. She was the editor for the statewide GHEA (Georgia Home Education Association) newsletter for two years, and she and her husband, Mark have homeschooled since the mid 80's.  Kym writes and speaks encouragement to homeschool moms in practical, hands on ways making life very workable. She shares the love of homeschooling and the privilege of helping our children find Godís call in their lives.
