Kym will share about Lapbooking.

You’ll make a Lapbook to take home for reference.


We’ll meet on a Saturday morning, so we’ll have time to finish our Lapbook.



What is a Lapbook?

A lap book is a hands-on tool that you can use with your children in place of boring and monotonous worksheets. A lap book can be used with any subject matter that you are studying.  They can be used from preschool through high school. Lapbooks are typically made from large manila folders (colored or plain).


In this space-limited seminar, we will:


Find out:

            How to make lapbooks

            Supplies needed

            How to make the different folds

            What is a “minit” book?

            How to divide the data to decide the presentation

            Watch videos on the folds

            See actual lapbooks

            Find out the best resources for Lapbooking – on the books, videos, discussion groups and online info


Make a lapbook to take home!

            We’ll make lapbooks to take home - with the various folds, ideas, information, and the all-important hands-on visual.


            All materials will be supplied

            Cost: $10.00 for supplies

Directions:  >From Stockbridge go 138 toward Conyers.  At the intersection of Hwy 155 and 138 you will turn left onto Hwy 155.  The church is .4 miles up on your left.  (you can also use www.mapquest.com and get directions from your house)
