The Victorian Adventures History Day Camp

The Victorian Adventures History Day Camp will once again be offered for homeschooled girls at Southern Oaks, on Jeff Davis Drive, in Fayetteville.  The Victorian-themed camp, which depicts life in the 1800s, will be held the week of August 22-29.  During the camp week, girls wear hoop skirts, and participate in activities such as making their own bonnets, stitching a sampler, “taking tea,” playing with toys and games of the period, and learning about courageous women of the Civil War.  Campers learn old-style dancing every day. There is a program and “tea” for the families on Friday evening of the camp week.

The camp is for girls ages 8 through early teens.

Camp hours:  Monday thru Friday, 9am to 3 pm; program at 7 pm on Friday night.

            Cost:  $135

Deadline:  Please reserve your child’s spot by Aug. 8.
