What are the prizes?
Trophies will be awarded to top players by age group.

What are the rules?

  • Touch/Move and Touch Capture: If you touch a piece, that's the piece you must move, and if you touch an opponent's piece, then you must capture it if it is a legal move.
  • No chess clocks or timers will be used, but players must make reasonable progress to complete a game. Chess notation is suggested, but not required. If writing down moves is slowing the game, the player will be asked to stop.
  • Participants must know how to complete a game.
  • No player is allowed to comment about any other ongoing game unless asked to by the tournament director.
