2009 Regional Leadership Conferences

- To provide up-to-date legislative information
- To share useful, practical suggestions for leadership
- To examine hot topics and trends in home schooling
- To meet other support group leaders in your area
- To update current support group information

- Past, present and future support group leaders
- Anyone interested in starting a group
- Support service providers

Each conference will take place from 10:00 AM go 4:00PM - dates and places listed below. Leaders are welcome to attend the conference(s) of your choice. There is a $10.00 registration fee at the door fee per person attending to cover the cost of printing and travel. Please RSVP to the contacts listed below. Lunch will be from 12 – 1 PM. Some conferences have special accommodations for lunch or breakfast, noted below. Please check with your local contact for info. If your group would like to help with providing lunch or a light snack, let your local contact know.
Each group represented will receive 1 (one) free copy of the GHEA Leadership Manual. Additional copies are available for $15.00. This is a valuable resource for support group leaders in Georgia. It includes hand-outs, sample by-laws, information for new home schoolers, admissions policies to GA colleges and universities, high school information and up-dates.
